Just a few minutes’ drive from the seafront and Scarborough town centre, Jazz Court’s apartments are ideally located. All apartments are finished with neutral colours and come unfurnished with fitted carpets throughout so you can personalise your home as you choose.

Apartments have one or two spacious bedrooms and an open-plan lounge as well as:

* Bathroom with level access shower

* Intercom door entry system

All apartments are fitted with a pull cord emergency alarm system which, when activated, will alert the 24-hour support team that you need assistance. There are lifts to all floors and full wheelchair access to all apartments and communal areas.

Jazz Court has a vibrant community atmosphere, with a variety of activities and clubs available for residents to join.

We have excellent facilities on-site, including the Taste café, open seven days a week, where you can enjoy home-made food, all freshly prepared by our professional in-house catering team.

How to apply and eligibility

To be eligible for an apartment at Jazz Court, you must:

* Be aged 55 or over

* Have a recognised support need

* Reside in the local area, or have a family connection

A Personal Risk Assessment and a needs assessment from North Yorkshire County Council Social Services will be undertaken to assess suitability before an application can be accepted.

Having as much independence as you want and the reassurance that if your needs change you will be fully supported means that you can focus on living your life to the full.

With a comprehensive range of personal and domestic care and support services, our on-site team can help you at home with anything you need including shopping, laundry, housework, personal care, prescription collection and visits to the dentist, writing letters or sending emails.

We pride ourselves on treating people as individuals so all our residents have care plans tailored to their personal needs. We review care plans on a regular basis and can involve family and friends in this process.
